The charity car wash league continues

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) is feeling more competitive than ever ahead of this year’s September car wash league.

Stations across the city-region will host a number of car washes to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Firefighters, volunteers and support staff from across the Service have the chance to raise thousands of pounds to support firefighters across the country, not to mention to win the prestigious Car Wash Trophy.

At the start of the year GMFRS were named Regional Car Wash Champions for the North-West for the second time, after raising a jaw-dropping £14,307.

But in the second league of the year starting this month the Service is looking to raise more than ever before.

Members of the public can bring their cars and vans to their local stations over the next few months to help us raise important funds for the charity.
