GMFRS hold Regional Car Wash Winners title

GREATER Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) are once again Regional Car Wash Winners for the North West.

Throughout September stations across the service got out their sponge and bucket to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Thanks to the fantastic efforts of all our firefighters, staff and volunteers we have successfully raised £8,855 to help the charity provide its much needed services.

The Fire Fighters Charity provides support for all fire service staff, both serving and retired, and their families to ensure they get the best possible rehabilitation services.

Assistant Chief Fire Officer Dave Keelan said: “Well done to everyone who took part in the September car washes – once again GMFRS has raised a fantastic amount.

“Let’s keep the ball rolling now and maintain our title as Regional Car Wash Winners.”

Car washes will be kicking off again early next year, so please get out and show your support.
