Whitefield Community Fire Station, Bury
The original proposal for Whitefield Community Fire Station included the new build station close to the boundary line with George Street. Following local feedback we have moved the proposed building away from the edge of the plot. Below are the current designs and plans for Whitefield Community Fire Station.

The second of the new stations, which form part of GMFRS’s 16-year Estates Improvement Programme, will be in Whitefield.
The new stations will include sustainable heating and lighting systems to support Greater Manchester's target to become a carbon neutral city-region by 2038. By developing our estates, we are investing in our people, our communities and our future.
The new station in Whitefield is expected to be complete by October 2026 with progress of the new station to be shared on our social media channels.
