Safe Drive Stay Alive November 2024 at The Middleton Arena

Due to seating capacity this year at The Middleton Arena, we will be using a targeted approach based on road traffic collision data and socio demographic profiles.  Performance dates will initially be offered to Schools/Colleges/Groups  who are at a higher risk of young people being involved in a road traffic collision.

For Schools/Colleges/Groups that have been identified to be at a higher risk, you will have already received an invitation to book seats for this year's performances.

For those not able to attend the live shows, a new virtual film is being produced this year to offer to schools/colleges as an alternative.

If you have been offered seats due to targeting, we ask that you consider how many seats you actually require and make your booking

before 13^th September 2024 to avoid disappointment.

A reserve list will be in place for those that do not meet the targeting and will be offered seats following the cut off period (13.09.24).

*FREE Coaching, you will need to confirm your seat numbers and requirements, one month in advance.

*Performances are approximately for 1.5 hours, the morning performance starts at 10:15 am, the afternoon performance starts at 13:15 pm.

Evaluation

We will be conducting an online survey that will include pre/post/follow up evaluation. In addition there will be face to face Focus Groups in Jan/Feb 2025.  

We need your support in order to do this by promoting our survey using posters with QR Codes and the willingness to take part in focus groups if chosen.

The aim of the Focus Groups will be to recap the safety messages and to capture long term behavioural changes to feed into our evaluation.

The surveys will be open to students who took part in either the live shows or virtual film and we will have competition prizes. This will be advertised along with the Terms and Conditions, once the survey is open.
