Whitehill Industrial Unit Fire - Stockport

NINE fire engines from across Greater Manchester are currently at the scene of a fire at Whitehill Industrial Estate, Stockport.

Firefighters are tackling a blaze involving a single-storey industrial unit.

An aerial appliance, Technical Response Unit and Command Support Unit are also at the scene as firefighters wearing breathing apparatus use jets to fight the fire.

The incident is causing a lot of smoke, therefore local residents are asked to keep their doors and windows closed.
