BETWEEN 5.30pm on Wednesday, June 21, and 8.30am on Thursday, June 22, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were called to 70 incidents.

Road Traffic Collision - Trafford
AT 7:45pm on Wednesday, June 21, two crews from Stretford and Sale attended a road traffic collision at the junction of Westinghouse Road and Mosley Road in Trafford Park.
On arrival crews found the collision involving two vehicles and four causalities. Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to rescue one male, thought to be suffering from spinal injuries.
The other three casualties suffered minor injuries.
Firefighters were in attendance for seventy five minutes.
Outbuildings fire - Leigh
AT 00:29am on Thursday, June 22, three crews from Leigh, Atherton and Warrington attended a fire involving a garage and outbuildings next to a detached property in Thornton Close, Leigh.
Firefighters wearing four breathing apparatus used two hose reels, one five meter ladder and lighting to extinguish the fire.
Crews were in attendance for approximately three hours.
Vehicle fire - Oldham
AT 01:17am on Wednesday, June 22, two crews from Hollins and Oldham attended a fire involving scrap vehicles and tyres on wasteland in Grosby Street, Oldham.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels, one jet, one thermal imaging camera and one ladder to extinguish the fire involving six to ten scrap cars and a pile of tyres.
The cause of the fire was deliberate. Crews were in attendance for four hours and thirty minutes.
