Between 5.30pm and 8.30am on Tuesday, March 21, and 8.30am on Wednesday, March 22, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service received 81 calls and attended 46 incidents.
Here are details of some incidents firefighters attended:
Kitchen fire – Atherton
AT 5.48pm on Tuesday, March 21, three crews from Atherton, Hindley and Leigh were called to a fire at a house on Coronation Avenue, Atherton.
On arrival firefighters found there had been a fire in the kitchen. Crews ventilated the house and administered first aid to a casualty suffering from burns.

Firefighters were on the scene for approximately 20 minutes.
Electrical fire – Heywood
THREE crews from Heywood and Rochdale attended an electrical fire at a pub on Bury Street, Heywood, at 8.03pm on Tuesday, March 21.
On arrival firefighters found a fire involving a light on the outside of the building and used a hose reel, a ladder and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
Crews were on the scene for approximately 40 minutes.
