Washing machine fire – Worsley
AT 6.24pm on July 20, 2017, three fire engines from Bolton Central and Farnworth attended a person’s reported fire in Egerton Grove, Worsley.
On arrival, crew discovered the fire to be involving a washing machine and tackled the flames using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel.
All persons were accounted for at the scene and crew remained in attendance for around 25 minutes.

Building fire – Middleton
AT 6.29pm on July 20, 2017, three fire engines from Blackley, Heywood and Chadderton attended a fire in a derelict building in Rectory Street, Middleton.
On arrival crews found the fire to be involving a quantity of rubbish in the boarded up property.
Firefighters used one hose reel and a two short extension ladders to deal with the fire and were at the scene for around 30 minutes.
Building fire – Oldham
ON July 20, 2010 at 7.58pm, three fire engines from Oldham and Hollins attended a fire at a derelict medical centre in Tuns Road, Oldham.
Crew used one hose reel to tackle the fire and checked for remaining pockets of fire with a thermal imaging camera.
The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and crew were at the scene for around 20 minutes.
