Between 5.30pm on November 20, and 8am, November 21, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended 52 incidents. Read about a couple of them below. 

Car fire - Bolton

AT 4:39am on Tuesday, November 21, two crews from Bolton Central and Bolton North attended a fire involving a car in a domestic garage in Down Green Road, Bolton.

Firefighters wearing two breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the flames.

The car had been left on charge overnight in a garage attached to the property which had caused the fire. Crews were in attendance for forty minutes.

Clubhouse fire – Bolton

AT 4:54am on Tuesday, November 21, two crews from Farnworth and Atherton attended a fire involving a quantity of furniture in a clubhouse in Cawdor Street, Farnworth.

Firefighters wearing three breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the flames.

The cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate. Crews were in attendance for one hour and fifteen minutes.
