FIREFIGHTERS have freed a man trapped between a lorry and metal racking on Store Street, in Ancoats, Manchester.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service was called at 7.54am to the incident near to Ducie Street and Great Ancoats Street.
Two fire engines from Manchester Central and a technical response unit from Ashton-under-Lyne attended, alongside colleagues from North West Ambulance Service.
Firefighters used Turfor Chocks, specialist cutting equipment and battery tools to free the man. He has now been take to hospital by NWAS.
Road cordons are in place, so if possible please avoid the area. Traffic will obviously be an issue due to the time of day the incident has occurred and the central location.
