Firefighters called to fire in Oldham

Shortly after 8:50pm this evening (Saturday 17 August), six fire engines from Chadderton, Oldham, Hollins, Heywood, Rochdale and Ashton fire stations were called to a fire on Stock Lane, Chadderton.

Firefighters arrived quickly and are currently working to extinguish the fire and make the area safe. Crews remain in attendance at this time.

18.08.2024 9am update

Last night, firefighters used three hose reel jets and a spray plate to extinguish the fire involving several caravans and motorhomes.

Crews remain in attendance this morning to monitor the premises and ensure the area is safe.
