Condolences given as Michelle Pearson passes away

GREATER Manchester Fire and Rescue Service would like to extend their deepest sympathies following the tragic news of the death of Michelle Pearson.

Assistant County Fire Officer Leon Parkes said: “We are all incredibly upset to learn of Michelle’s passing, 20 months on from this tragic incident.

“I would like to extend our condolences to her friends and family and to those in the community in Walkden who have been affected in what must be a tremendously difficult time”.

Michelle was seriously injured in a house fire which took the lives of her four children in Walkden, 2017.

Her mother announced on Facebook this morning that she has sadly lost her life.
