Achilles Project

Our Achilles Project is an intervention for individuals or groups who have been involved with the criminal justice system, or thought to be involved via intelligence, and/or young people struggling within mainstream education.

The 5-day course (either in consecutive days or one session per week for 5-weeks) will assess, engage, educate, and develop support structures to encourage behaviour change, create safer communities and reduce anti-social behaviour. Sessions are held in one of our local fire stations.

There are 9 sessions to take part in, 4 inter and intrapersonal sessions and 5 sessions delivered by our firefighters. Attendees will also gain a ‘Developing Resilience’ qualification – accredited by the Prince’s Trust – and there is a celebration session on the final day.
