Are you 16 to 25-years-old and unemployed?
We are recruiting for future Prince’s Trust courses which give young people endless opportunities.
We run three courses each year where young people have the opportunity to gain qualifications, meet new people and be part of something really amazing.
Please get in touch with us if you are unemployed, in or about to leave care, an offender or ex-offender, and looking for a challenge.
The team programme is free to attend and lasts 12 weeks. You’ll be part of a team of young people who will gain careers advice, work placements, and take part in a series of community based projects which often include a trip to another part of the country for a few days.
You will also have the opportunity to work towards recognised qualifications, as well as develop many skills, such as:
- Prince's Trust Certificate in employment, teamwork and community skills
- Health and Safety
- Manual Handling
- Basic Food Hygiene
- First Aid at work
- Adult literacy and numeracy
- Personal, Employability, Achievement and Reflection for Learning
Many young people who have taken part in one of our Prince's Trust courses have gone on to do wonderful things, with one young man securing himself a firefighter position.
To hear from Thomas Fox, who is now a trainee firefighter with GMFRS, and how taking part in a Prince's Trust programme helped him click here.
Recruitment is now open so if you are interested in the programme please call our Contact Centre on 0800 555 815.
