With events taking place throughout the year Stockport Borough Golf Society are an extremely active section with over 30+ golfers regularly attending their golf days. All score cards are collected by the organisers at the end of the round who then input the scores to the national database so your golf handicap can be assessed, prizes are won for nearest the pin and best scores etc at each event.

Our Sports and Welfare Coordinator attended the final event of 2024.

Venue: Portal Golf Club, Cobblers Lane, Tarporley CW6 0DJ

• 24th April Ringway Golf Club 
• 10th May Denton Golf Club
• 20th June Didsbury Golf Club 
• 14th July Leigh Golf Club
• 14th August Prestbury Golf Club

Final event of the year:

2 days of golf at The Portal Golf Course Thursday 11th and Friday 12th September.

All events are booked for 40 players and anyone interested in attending should contact our Sports and Welfare Coordinator for further details.
