Living Well Group News
Retired fire sector staff are invited to Living Well Group, be part of a social group for retired members of the Fire & Rescue Service that the Firefighters Charity is running, supported by Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) and the Firefighters Charity.
The group will offer a relaxed and sociable event where we will occasionally invite guest speakers from local organisations and charities to talk about topics that you might like to hear about. The group will have a very positive focus as well as a strong social element; it is as much about bringing the retired Fire and Rescue Service community together, as it is about connecting with the Firefighters Charity. The group will be run by volunteers from GMFRS.
Next Meeting:
- Manchester Central Community Fire Station, Thompson Street, Manchester, M4 5FP
- Meeting Wednesday, 12th February between 10.30 and 12.30
The group is open to beneficiaries of the Firefighters Charity (you or your partner will need to have completed five years continuous service in the FRS in any capacity); attendees can come along by themselves, or as a couple (partners can attend in their own right). If you know of other people who are beneficiaries and who may be interested in this group, please pass on the information, or direct them to me.
