Meet members of GMFRS Retired Members Association (RMA)

Committee members front row left to right Lynne Bairsto, Kath Hilton, Barry Hilton & Janet O'Callaghan welcome all retired GMFRS staff to join the Retired Members Association.

Membership to the retired members section is currently £10.00 per year and further details can be obtained through our Sports and Welfare Coordinator Gary (Gaz) Phillips, you can also follow them on Facebook (Fire Brigade Memories).

RMA Social Event and AGM

This years retired members section Social night was held 22nd November 2024 at the Pavilion, Middle Masonic Club, Manchester Old Road, Middleton. Planning for next years event is underway further details to follow,

AGM to be held Friday 11th April 2025 19:00hrs

Late Summer 2025 Trip to Llandudno

2025 will see the RMA travel to Llandudno for a break staying in the White Heather Hotel Llandudno, anyone wishing to attend should contact the RMA direct or contact Gary Phillips Sports and Welfare Coordinator for further details.

RMA are also part of the National Association of Retired Firefighters (NARF) and membership is also available to retired staff through their website:www.narfire.uk (external website)
