Man extricated from Ashton Car Crash
A crew from Ashton and Blackley were called to Picton Street, Ashton were called to a collision involving two cars at 11.32pm on, Friday, October 28, 2016.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to extricate one man, who was trapped by the foot pedals in the vehicle.
The crew were at the scene for around 40 minutes and the man was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital for precautionary checks.

Unattended pan of food causes high rise blaze
A crew from Blackley, Chadderton and Hollins were called to a high rise block of flats on Dalham Avenue, Manchester at 11.51pm on, Friday, October 28 following reports of a fire.
On arrival firefighters found a fire involving a pan of food on the hob of a cooker, which was out on arrival.
One casualty was treated at the scene by paramedics for smoke inhalation, but declined hospital treatment.
Fire in Oldham house sparks investigation
A crew from Oldham and Chadderton were called to a fire on Fulham Street, Oldham, at 9.18pm on Saturday, October 29, involving a bed in the living room of an unoccupied house.
Four firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reels to tackle the blaze and were on the scene for over three hours.
Police officers and specialist fire investigators are investigating the cause of the fire which at this stage is believed to be deliberate.
Cigarette causes bedroom blaze in Oldham
A crew from Rochdale and Heywood were called to a fire on Drake Street, Rochdale, at 9.37pm on Saturday October 29, following reports of a fire in a bedroom of a house on the road.
Four firefighters in breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and a woman escaped the blaze with minor smoke inhalation.
The fire is believed to have been caused after the occupier fell asleep with a lit cigarette in bed.
Neighbour rescues man from Fallowfield house fire
A crew from Moss Side, Withington and Wythenshawe were called to a house fire on Langley Road, Fallowfield, at 12.54pm on Sunday, October 30.
On arrival the crew found a well-developed fire in a mid-terraced house and four firefighters in breathing apparatus used hose reels, a high pressure fan and a thermal imaging camera to help extinguish the blaze.
A man in his forties was rescued by his neighbour and taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and firefighters are still on the scene damping down.
