Between 5.30pm on Thursday, April 13, and 8.30am on Tuesday, April 18, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service received 629 calls and attended 363 incidents.
Cooking fire – Salford – April 16
ON April 16 at 4.05am, three fire engines from Whitefield, Broughton and Agecroft were called to a kitchen fire in Hillside Avenue, Salford.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put the fire out.
Firefighters were in attendance for 80 minutes.

RTC – Stalybridge – April 16
AT 11.37am on April 16, fire engines from Hyde and Ashton attended a road traffic collision in Mottram Road, Stalybridge involving two vehicles.
Firefighters rescued one woman using a DeWalt saw and she was conveyed to hospital by NWAS.
Crews were detained for around 50 minutes.
RTC – Manchester – April 16
FIRE engines from Philips Park and Ashton attended a road traffic collision in Ashton Old Road, Manchester at 3.35pm on April 16.
Crews rescued a man from a vehicle using specialist cutting equipment and he was conveyed to hospital.
Crews were detained for around 30 minutes.
