Between the hours of 5.30pm on Wednesday February 1, and 8.30 am on Thursday February 2, 2017, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service received 76 calls and were mobilised to 41 incidents. The below may be of interest.
RTC – Manchester – February 1, 2017
CREWS from Sale and Altrincham and a Technical Response Unit from Ashton were called to an RTC involving two vehicles in the junction of Butcher Lane and Ferndown Road, Manchester at 5.37pm on February 1, 2016. Two casualties had self-rescued prior to the arrival of the Fire Service while one man remained trapped. Firefighters used cutting equipment to remove the man from the car.
Two casualties were transferred to hospital by NWAS and crews remained at the scene for around two hours.
