Between 5.30pm on Wednesday, October 4 and 8am on Thursday, October 5, we received 94 calls and attended 50 incidents.
Road traffic collision - Sowerby Bridge
AT 23:36 on October 4, two fire engines from Oldham and the technical response unit from Ashton assisted West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service at a road traffic collision on the A672 Rishworth, Sowerby Bridge, involving one vehicle that had gone into a ravine.
Firefighters used lighting, a rope system and a titan stretcher to rescue one person from the car.
Crews were in attendance for just over one and a half hours.
House fire - Bolton
AT 01:49 on October 5, three fire engines from Bolton Central and Farnworth Fire Stations attended a house fire on Princess Avenue, Kearsley.
Crews used one hose reel, four breathing apparatus and a ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and clear the smoke.
Firefighters were in attendance for two hours.
Shed fire - Stockport
At 04:19 hours on October 5, one fire engine from Stockport and a fire engine from Offerton were called to a fire involving a disused pigeon shed in the back garden of a house on Bramhall Moor Lane, Hazel Grove, Stockport.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a short extension ladder and a ceiling hook to bring the fire under control.
Crews were in attendance for one hour and fifty minutes.
