Cooking fire – Bolton
AT 5.22pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, firefighters from Hindley and Atherton attended an incident at a ground floor flat in Mealhouse Court, Atherton which involved a tray that had been left in an oven.
Crews used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to tackle the fire and two positive pressure fans to clear smoke from the property.

Bin fire – Manchester
FIREFIGHTERS from Gorton attended a fire in a bin compound in Watkin Close, Manchester at 7.33pm on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
Crews dealt with the fire using one hose reel and re-secured the compound. It is believed the cause of the fire was deliberate
