Between 5.30pm on Monday, May 8, and midnight on Tuesday, May 9, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service received 88 calls and attended 56 incidents.

Building Fire – Stockport
AT 7.09pm on Monday, May 8, two fire engines Hyde and Whitehill attended a building fire in Haughton Close, Stockport.
On arrival crews found a fire in a garden shed, which had spread to a nearby fence. To extinguish the fire crews used one hose reel and breaking in gear.
Firefighters treated one person suffering from burns on their hands at the scene. They remained at the incident for 55 minutes.
Road traffic collision – Salford
AT 8.52pm on Monday, May 8, a fire engine from Salford responded to a road traffic collision in Trafford Road, Salford.
On arrival firefighters found two cars had been involved in the crash, which were made safe on scene by the crews using a hearth kit.
Three casualties were assessed by paramedics on the scene, firefighters remained in attendance for 30 minutes.
Building fire – Leigh
AT 10.15pm on Monday, May 8, three fire engines from Hindley, Atherton and Leigh attended a building fire in Youd Street, Leigh.
On arrival firefighters found a wheelie bin fire in the garden of a terraced house. The fire had spread to the external gas supply and firefighters had to use one hose reel and one jet to extinguish it.
Firefighters remained on the scene for one hour and 35 minutes.
