House Fire in Denshaw
AT 5.23pm on Monday, January 9, crews from Oldham and Rochdale were called to a house fire on Huddersfield Road, Denshaw.
On arrival firefighters used a hose reel, three breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to bring the fire under control.
The crews left the scene at around 7.00pm.
House Fire in Droylsden
AT around 10.30pm on Monday, January 9, three fire engines from Ashton Under Lyne, Philips Park and Manchester Central were called to a house fire on Haven Drive, Droylsden.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, hose reels and positive pressure ventilation fans to bring the fire under control.
Firefighters remained on the scene for three hours and 30 minutes, leaving the scene at around 2.00am.
Boat fire in Droylsden
SHORTLY after 2.00am on Tuesday, January 10, two fire engines from Ashton Under Lyne and Manchester Central, the Technical Response Unit from Ashton Under Lyne and the Water Incident Unit from Eccles attended a boat fire in Droylsden.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, lighting equipment, a short extension ladder and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and check for spread.
Firefighters were in attendance for just over one hour.
