Commercial Fire – Manchester – Thursday, December 8,
Shortly after 8:00pm on December 8, 2016, two fire engines from Blackley and one fire engine from Phillips Park were called to an incident involving a fire in the ground floor of a three-storey commercial property in Kingsbridge Road, Manchester.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a positive pressure ventilation fan to deal with the fire and were at the scene for around 90 minutes. The cause of the fire was deliberate.
Commercial Fire – Salford – Friday, December 9
At 1:27am on December 9, 2016 crews from Manchester Central and Salford attended an incident at a commercial property in Bury Street, Salford. Crews were in attendance for just over three hours and used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to tackle the blaze.
Cooking Fire – Rochdale – Friday, December 9
At 4.30am three fire engines from Rochdale and Littleborough fire stations attended a cooking fire in a domestic property in Halfiax Road, Wardle. Crews used one hose reel and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
