Firefighters were called to a building fire on Lind Street in Manchester at around 13:30 on Wednesday, March 2.
On arrival firefighters used two jets and two breathing apparatus to contain the fire and continued like this until 15:30.
By 17:30 there were still three fire engines in attendance, however firefighters were able to begin damping down, essentially ensuring water was continually sprayed on the area to ensure the flames could not re-ignite.
Overnight one fire engine remained at the scene to continue to monitor the incident and continue damping down.
