Building fire in Bolton.
At 10:53 on December 29, fire engines from Horwich, Boton North and Farnworth attended an address on Chorley New Road, Bolton, due to reports of a building fire. Firefighters found the fire to be involving a quantity of waste and clothing in a downstairs utility room. Fire service personnel used one hose reel, four breathing apparatus and two positive pressure ventilation fans to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance at this incident for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
Kitchen fire in Shaw
At 11:10 on December 29, a fire engine from Chadderton, one from Oldham with one from Heywood attended a commercial property on Grains Road, Shaw, to reports of a building fire. On arrival fire fighters found the fire involving an industrial fryer in the kitchen on the ground floor of the property. Fire service personnel utilised one breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a foam extinguisher and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and were in attendance at this incident for approximately thirty minutes.
Building fire in Bolton
At 12:35 on December 29, a fire engines from Bolton Central, Bolton North and Farnworth attended an address on Halliwell Road, Bolton to reports of a building fire. On arrival fire service personnel found the fire to be involving a quantity of rubbish in the yard of the property. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for approximately twenty-five minutes.
Building fire in Manchester
At 13:59 on December 29, three fire engines from Withington, Stockport and Gorton, attended and address on Mauldeth Road, Burnage, Manchester due to reports of a building on fire. On arrival fire fighters found the fire to be involving small amounts of rubbish on the ground floor of a derelict building. Fire service personnel used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire. The fire service was in attendance at this incident for approximately an hour and twenty-five minutes.
