Between 5.30pm on Friday, April 28 and 8.30am on Tuesday, May 2 we received 764 calls. Below are some of the incidents we responded to on Friday, April 28 after 5.30pm.
Kitchen Fire – Ince
AT 17.48pm on Friday, April 28, three fire engines from Leigh, Atherton and Hindley attended a house fire in Belle Green Lane, Ince.
On arrival firefighters found a fire in the kitchen and used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to put it out.
Firefighters were on the scene for two hours dealing with the incident.
Kitchen Fire – Manchester
AT 17.52pm on Friday, April 28, three fire engines from Philips Park, Blackley and Manchester Central attended a kitchen fire in Millais Street, Manchester.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to bring the fire under control.
Firefighters remained in attendance for forty minutes.
Kitchen Fire – Stockport
AT 20.48pm on Friday, April 28, three fire engines from Offerton, Marple and Stockport attended a kitchen fire in Grebe Walk, Stockport.
The fire originated from the oven in the house and firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and ventilation fan to extinguish it.
Firefighters were at the incident for just under an hour.
