Friday, November 25
ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION, CHEETHAM HILL
At 8.21pm a fire engine from Broughton fire station attended a road traffic collision on Cheetham Hill Road in Manchester. When fire crews arrived, they found that three cars had been involved in the collision. They helped one casualty from the vehicle who was then taken to hospital by North West Ambulance. Crews were there for 40 minutes.

Saturday, November 26
VEHICLE FIRE, RADCLIFFE
At 9.16am one fire engine from Farnworth went to the reports of a vehicle fire in Alexandra Road in Radcliffe. On arrival firefighters dealt with a fire involving two vehicles. They used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to put out the fire. They were on the scene for 40 minutes.
ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION, CASISHEAD
At 10.19am two fire engines from Irlam and Eccles, along with the technical response unit and major rescue unit from Leigh went to a road traffic collision in Cadishead Way in Irlam. The accident involved two vehicles. One casualty was released using a trauma bag. Firefighters stayed on the scene making it safe and assisting colleagues from North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Police.
TERRACED HOUSE FIRE, STOCKPORT
At 2.24pm three fire engines from Stockport, Offerton and Cheadle attended Mahood Street in Stockport where there was a fire in a mid-terraced property. The fire involved an electric cooker within the kitchen. Crews used four breathing apparatus, positive pressure ventilation and two hose reels to deal with the incident. Crews were there for one and a half hours.
ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION, LIVESEY STREET
At 6.40pm, two fire engines from Manchester Central, along with the technical response unit and major rescue unit from Ashton under Lyne attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Liversey Street in Manchester. Firefighters rescued one person from the vehicle using cutting equipment and then made the scene safe. Crews were on the scene for 45 minutes.
Monday, November 28
COOKING FIRE, WHITEFIELD
At 00.39am three fire engines from Whitefield, Broughton and Farnworth attended a cooking fire in Parkstone Avenue in Whitefield. The cooking fire which started in the kitchen of a detached bungalow, was tackled by firefighters using four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and one positive pressure ventilation fan. Crews were at the scene for 55 minutes.
BEDROOM FIRE, ADSWOOD IN STOCKPORT
At 1.02am three fire engines from Stockport, Cheadle and Offerton attended a fire in Appleby Close in Adswood in Stockport. The fire in the semi-detached property started in the bedroom. Crews used two hose reels, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan to deal with the fire. There was two casualties who were looked after by North West Ambulance Service for smoke inhalation. Crews were on the scene for one hour and 15 minutes. The cause is under investigation.
