THREE crews from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were called to a Cheadle Hulme pub last night after a fire involving a tumble dryer.
At 9.25pm on Wednesday, August 3, firefighters from Cheadle, Stockport and Wythenshawe went to reports of a pub on fire on Station Road.
On arrival crew found that the occupied pub had been evacuated and that a fire had taken place on the first floor and involved a tumble dryer.
The fire was out and firefighters used a high pressure fan to remove smoke.
Firefighters were on scene for around half an hour.
