Firefighters in Greater Manchester dealt with 250 incidents over the weekend. Read about some of them below.
Kitchen fire - Hyde
AT 11:04am on Sunday, November 12, three crews from Hyde, Stalybridge and Gorton attended a kitchen fire in Haughton Street, Hyde.
The fire involved a pan of food on a gas cooker. Firefighters wearing two breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire was accidental. Crews were in attendance for forty minutes.
Kitchen fire – Dukinfield
AT 12:30pm on Sunday, November 12, three crews from Stalybridge and Ashton-Under-Lyne attended a kitchen fire at a semi-detached property in Birch View, Dukinfield.
Firefighters wearing two breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the flames.
The cause of the fire was accidental. Crews were in attendance for forty minutes.
