We received 304 emergency calls between 5.30pm Friday, January 12 and 5.30pm Sunday, January 14, with crews attending 160 incidents.
Cooker fire, Salford
At 4:40am on January 13 three fire engines from Eccles and Salford attended a cooking fire on Little Bolton Terrace, Salford.
Firefighters used breaking in gear to get into the property and rescued one person who was then assessed by paramedics at the scene.
Crews were in attendance for one hour.
Garage fire, Droylsden
At 7.14pm on January 13, two fire engines from Ashton-under-Lyne and Stalybridge were called to a fire on Fairfield Road, Droylsden, involving a quantity of rubbish in a derelict garage.
Fire fighters used one breathing apparatus, one hose reel and breaking in gear to tackle the fire.
Crews were on scene for half an hour.
Road traffic collision, Failsworth
At 10:14pm on January 13, four fire engines from Leigh, Oldham and Manchester Central fire stations attended a road traffic collision on Oldham Road, Failsworth involving two cars.
Firefighters rescued one person from a vehicle using a longboard, hydraulic cutting equipment, lighting and a dewalt saw.
Fire crews were in attendance for just over one hour.
House fire, Farnworth
At 11:11am on January 14, three fire engines from Farnworth and Bolton Central fire stations were called to a grill pan fire at a house on Egerton Street, Farnworth.
The fire was out on arrival and crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
Firefighters led one person to safety and were on scene for approximately 45 minutes.
Cooker fire, Marple
At 1:43pm on January 14, three fire engines from Marple, Offerton and Stockport fire stations were called to a fire on Primrose Avenue, Marple.
The fire involved a cooker and crews used a hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan to put the fire out.
Four people self-rescued from the house before crews arrived.
Fire fighters were at the incident for approximately one hour.
Commercial fire, Cheadle
At 4:07pm January 14, two fire engines from Cheadle and Wilmslow fire stations attended a fire at a commercial premises on Bolshaw Road, Heald Green, Cheadle involving a quantity tyres and other farm equipment.
Crews used a jet to put the fire out and were on scene for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
