BETWEEN 5.30pm on Thursday, June 1, and 8.30am on Friday, June 2, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended 58 incidents.

Kitchen fire – Heywood
AT 6.58pm on Thursday, June 1, three crews from Rochdale and Heywood were called to a fire at a house on Wilton Grove, Heywood.
On arrival crews found a fire in the kitchen and used one hose reel and a specialist fan to extinguish it.

Firefighters were on the scene for 15 minutes.
Clubhouse fire – Salford
AT 7.35pm on Thursday, June 1, three crews from Salford and Agecroft were called to a fire at a social club on Charles Street, Salford.
On arrival crews found a fire involving the bar and used one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish it.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
Firefighters were on the scene for approximately 45 minutes.
Skip fire – Heywood
AT 10.16pm on Thursday, June 1, three crews from Heywood, Bury and Whitefield were called to a fire involving six industrial skips on Bury New Road, Heywood.
Crews used three jets, a high pressure specialist jet and lighting equipment to put the fire out.
Firefighters were on the scene for approximately one and a half hours.
