BETWEEN 00.01 and 8.30am on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended 16 incidents, including a shed fire caused by a wood burner that had not been put out properly.
Wood burner fire – Salford
JUST before 3.15am on August 29, 2017, two fire engines from Farnworth attended a fire involving a garden shed and fence panels at the rear of a property in Ashawe Close, Salford. Crews put out the fire and were on the scene for around half an hour. The fire was caused by a wood burner not being properly extinguished before it was put away.
