Here is a summary of the most newsworthy incidents we have attended:
Man trapped after Styal crash
A crew from Wythenshawe and a Technical Response Unit from Ashton were called to a RTC on Styal Road at 18.21 last night.
On arrival they found a woman, who had escaped the vehicle and a man trapped inside. The crew used cutting tools and a spinal board to extricate the man.
Both casualties were taken to hospital.
Tumble dryer fire in Marple
At 3.52am a crew from Stockport, Offerton and Marple attended a house on Glossop Road, Marple Bridge following reports of a tumble dryer fire.
Two firefighters in breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the blaze and a high pressure fan to clear the smoke.
There were no casualties.
Wheelie bin fire in Oldham spreads to house
A crew from Oldham and Chadderton were called to a fire in a wheelie next to the front door of an end terraced house on Villa Road at 3.55am.
The crew used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and searched the smoke logged property in breathing apparatus.
Two people suffered smoke inhalation and were treated at the scene by paramedics.
