Between 8am and 5.30pm on Wednesday, November 29, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were called to 34 incidents. Read more about a road traffic collision we attended below.

RTC – Manchester

AT 11:06am on Wednesday, November 29, two crews from Moss Side and Wythenshawe, along with the Technical Response Unit and Major Response Unit from Ashton-Under-Lyne attended a road traffic collision in Palatine Road, Manchester.

On arrival, firefighters found the incident to be involving two vans, with a casualty trapped inside one of the vehicles. Crews rescued the casualty using a dewalt saw and stabalisation equipment. The casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance crews.

Firefighters were on the scene for approximate forty-five minutes.
