House fire – Stockport – January 24, 2017

AT 2.00pm on January 24, 2016 three fire engines from Stockport, Offerton and Marple attended a fire at a house in Buxton Road, Stockport. Upon arrival, crews found the fire to have started in the kitchen and used six berating apparatus and a hose reel to tackle the fire and one positive pressure fan to clear smoke from the property.

Neighbouring homes were checked by firefighters to make sure the fire had not spread.

Firefighters are still detained at the scene and are damping down.
