Cooking fire – Manchester
AT 4.34pm on May 8, 2017, four fire engines from Wythenshawe, Moss Side and Cheadle attended an incident in a terraced house in Shayfield Road, Manchester.
The incident involved an unattended pan of food on a cooker. Firefighters used breaking in gear, two berating apparatus and one hose reel to tackle the fire.
Crews remained at the scene for around 30 minutes.
Shed fire – Oldham
AT 4.34pm on May 8, 2017, two fire engines from Hollins and Oldham were mobilised to a building fire in Norfolk Street, Oldham.
On arrival crews found the fire to be involving a garden shed which had spread to a fence and wheelie bins.
Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for around 70 minutes.
