Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service also operates a media voicebank, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is updated every 3 hours, with details about incidents of interest that crews have attended.

The voicebank number is 08718 730 904.

The Corporate Communications team is the first point of contact for all journalists (national, local or trade) wanting to know more about GMFRS, emergency incidents, events etc. The team handles an average of 30 enquires/follow up enquires with the media each day.The team is responsible for internal communications, media liasion, public relations, marketing campaigns, e-communications such as; website, desktop publishing, photography and displays...
